Etape Eryri - The Snowdonia Sportive

Welcome to the brand new Etape Eryri – The Snowdonia Cycle Sportive, powered by Chain Reaction Cycles. 

The Etape Eryri is a new and exciting cycle challenge for your 2012 event calendar.  Exploring the most breathtaking and scenic roads in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park.  The Etape Eryri will blow your mind as well as your legs!

Organised by local cycling enthusiasts and award winning professional event organisers, the event will be one not to miss!  The route could not be more spectacular, with three distance options on offer.

• Etape Bach 47 – is the shortest route at 47 miles.  But don’t be deceived, this will be among the most gorgeous and challenging 47 miles you will ever ride.
• Etape Canol  76 – comes in at 76 miles with some mega climbs to get your legs and your lungs burning.  Equally as beautiful but a little bit tougher than the bach.
• Etape Mawr 103 – is the biggie!  A monster 103 miles of awesome tarmac on climbs you never believed you could ride!  Are you tough enough to take on the Etape Mawr?

We are making every effort to offer you a great value event, consequently the Etape Eryri entry fees will be just £27 for the bach, £31 for the canol and £35 for the mawr (plus a small card fee which is outside our control).  This includes electronic chip timing, numerous feed stations on route, refreshments at the finish, loads of awesome spot prizes and a fantastic event goody bag for all participants.  As well as this there will be masses to see and do in order to keep spectators entertained while the ride is taking place.

There is limited Saturday night camping at Caernarfon Rugby Club with ample toilet and shower facilities.  The cost for this is just £6 per person payable when you enter.  You will also be welcome to join us for a pre ride 'pasta party' at the rugby club from 6pm on Saturday, this must also be pre booked at a cost of £6 when you enter the event.

All routes will start and finish at the incredible and iconic Caernarfon Castle.  The castle square will become a mecca to cyclists for one Sunday in June.  We have planned the courses very carefully so that whichever one you choose, you won’t ride the same stretch of tarmac twice!
